Here comes Spring -- and the 2024 Baltimore Kinetic Sculpture Race! Plan to be in Baltimore in less than 12 weeks on Saturday, May 4!
Of course, the race doesn't happen without a LOT of support from many volunteers, people just like YOU. You should come to one or both of these volunteer meetings:
- Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30pm
- Saturday, April 27 at 10:00am

There are many ways to volunteer. Most are during the race, but you can also help prepare days in advance or early Saturday morning. We need eager volunteers for:
- Building & operating the mud and sand pits
- Kinetic Medics (especially if you have medical experience)
- Engaging the crowd and answering questions
- Clearing morning tidal debris at the Canton water entry
- Marine Posse (if you have a kayak and know how to use it)
- Marking the race course so racers don't get lost
- Inspecting sculptures for safety
- Protecting and serving as Kinetic Chickens and Kops
- Holding banners at the finish line for racers to tear through
