Bolt of Te Fiti

A new team from the Green Street Academy created Bolt of Te Fiti, a Bush League sculpture inspired by the vibrant world of Moana combined with the electrifying spirit of the Green Street lightning Bolt. They won Best Pit Crew for their support team’s unstoppable energy and cheer to propel their sculpture through the race. |

Te Fiti created the islands of Polynesia. That’s the giant evil crab Tamatoa on the front. |

 |
The volcano sculpture is built on a 2-passenger surrey, with limited inherent capability for challenging terrain. Pit crew enthusiastically pushed through the sand, fists pumping the air. |

Yet more enthusiasm got them through the mud. |
