Dogs Playing Poker

The capstone project of six Duke University mechanical engineering seniors, Dogs Playing Poker presented a canine card game on wheels.

Their frame was made from scratch, welded from 304 steel to create trusses and A-frames—with the front A-frames on bearings for steering.

Interesting place for a steering wheel.

That looks like 16 five-gallon water jugs, for 80 gallons = 0.3 cubic meters or roughly one puncheon of buoyancy.

Someone is pushing behind the dog.

At the mud, the pilots left the table to join in pushing.

We’ve got some dirty poker here.

This is almost over.

Yes, the chips and cards were all glued in place.
