They said, “All the things that failed last year have been fixed and/or improved and Team Protozoa are ready for this years race.” |

They crashed into the harbor with verve. |

There’s a lot to appreciate in a sculpture that bears its flotation ready-to-go throughout the race. Buoyancy came from the large sealed wheels and foam lateral pontoons. They’re ready for pavement, mud, sand, or water at any time without reconfiguration. |

They followed the entire racecourse, including the Southern Loop past the Domino Sugars sign. |
