Water taxi?

Post by Tom »

Are you a spectator who's used the Baltimore Water Taxi to see the race? If so, was it a good way to get around? Do you have any tips? In preparing the 2011 Spectators' Guide, we want to ensure that we have the most useful information.

The KineticBaltimore.com team has been so busy covering the race every year that we need your tips!

Thanks,

-Tom

I took the water taxi last year from the Inner Harbor. It works, though it's not ideal. It made a quick stop at Fells Point on the way, where I think I had to transfer to a different boat. Would be nice if they could schedule a direct trip on that day. Here's the view as we arrived in Canton: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mvjantzen/8730080090 (more Kinetic pix at http://www.mvjantzen.com/blog/?p=3768)

Afterwards walked to Patterson Park, then hopped on a bus on Lombard St which took me back to the Inner Harbor (I was lucky).

Hello,
For my part, I found that it is really a good way of transportation!
